Last day of 2008!

Well, we made it throught yet another year. Hard to believe its already over. We are really looking forward to the new year, we have big plans and goals for sure. To reminise about the last year is always nice, but we are ready to move into the future. We hope to see lots of our friends and family this year, if anyone is around, let us know, love to get together with ya. Will check in next year! :)

Good Monday Morning!

Well, its Monday, the Last Monday of 2008! We had a fantastic weekend, remodeled Micah's Room, remodeled Isaiah's room, did a bunch of cleaning, did a bunch of skiing, watched a cheesy Martial Arts movie, ate pizza, slept in, didn't shave, organized the office, shoveled snow...really couldn't have asked for a better weekend! I am taking this week off of work, using up the last of my vacation time for the year, but, am going in today anyhow, too much work to do! Hoping to get up to the really Big Mtn this afternoon for a few runs. Well, there is the Monday blog, see ya soon!

The Day After Tomorrow

Wow!!!! Thats about all I can say, we woke up this morning to 12 inches of new snow on the really Big Mountain! Micah and I headed up, found his buddy Todd and spent the day shredding the slopes (actually, I am not in the shape to really shred, but will be soon, see our newsletter), anyhow, I am about dead, skied tons, had a blast hitting the big powder, Good Medicine, Inspiration....all the classics were unmatched, even had some sun! Yesterday was great, the Prime Rib couldn't have been better, everyone loved their presents, Gina's beautiful clothing and a new bed set, Isaiah's "Rock Band" for the Xbox 360, Micah's very own Xbox 360 complete with monitor and, of course, the very best Internet connection, Anah and Stevens Dish Network package, what a deal!! Anyhow, this is what life is all about. I sure hope you all email me, even with over 1000 emails a day, I still sift through to find you guys. See Ya!

Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! What a wonderful day, the snow is lightly falling, the kids are all nestled, the stockings are hung. Its Christmas day and its a great one. Last night Steven and Anah joined me, Gina, Isaiah and Micah at the candlelight service, Gina sang with her praise band to lead the service, it was beautiful. We all came home and had shrimp, deli trays, veggie trays, chicken wings and lots of other great food including Micahs favorite, a cheese ball. We had a great evening. Today, once everyone else wakes up, we are opening presents and cooking Prime Rib with all the fixin's. It is truly a nice Christmas indeed. I hope all of yours is the same. We wish all the family could be together, maybe one day! Gods richest blessings to Everyone!

Christmas Week!

Well, its Christmas Week! We had a great party on Saturday for MontanaSky Networks, it was a lot of fun for sure. Sunday we went to church, Gina and "her band" did the music for both services, she did great, very nice Christmas service, only a few more rehearsals and a few more services and her Christmas programs are all done! We spent the rest of the day preparing for Christmas week, lots going on, lots of work to do in a few short days. We got all of our Christmas cards and gifts mailed, got all the Christmas emails done, if you got both, sorry for the double up, if you found this, thanks for checking up on us, we would love to hear from you all. Saturday Morning at the Dasen Home

Good Saturday morning, its 20 below zero at the summit of the Big Mountain, and we are debating on heading up or not for a couple of runs, its supposed to be warmer tomorrow so we might wait til then, we shall see! Tonight is our Chrismas party for MontanaSky at Mambo Italiano's in Whitefish, should be real good and a fun night. Looking forward to it for sure. We are also looking forward to the coming Christmas week, it should be real nice. Lots of snow and cold outside, warm fire, presents under the tree, snacks all around the home, stockings hung with care, lights up, it really is the "most wonderful time of the year!" Winter is here

Well, Winter has come with a vengenance! We had 10 to 12 inches in our driveway this am, cold, snowy day! Hope all of the AZ people are warm and nice, sure miss visiting you guys right now.

Well, made it half way through a new week, early meetings, lots to do at work, Christmas stuff, what a busy time of year. The boys are almost done with school for the Christmas break, Isaiah gets like a month off of college, what a bum, but he also has lots of work to do for MontanaSky, he is making "holiday logo's" for the company website, you can see his Christmas one on MontanaSky.net right now. Micah gets a few weeks off, he is excited for the break and looks forward to skiing (if it gets above zero temps that is), and is getting really excited for Christmas, he has his Christmas concert tomorrow night, that should be fun as always. Gina is working away, her job is so busy the day just flies by. Other than that, its cold, snowy, icy and just plain wintery out. Hope all is well with everyone! Talk to you soon.

Saturday in Montana

Wow! Thursday it was a beautiful day here in Kalispell, sunny, warm, one of the nicest days i have ever seen in December! Friday night the storm hit, got a bunch of snow, the winds kicked up, it got real cold, now we are in the middle of Winter! It held off for a while but came in with a vengance. The back is better, still a little sore, but better, thank God! Have to work today and am trying to decide if we are going skiing tomorrow, the snow is great but its 30 below on the summit, a little too cold for the first day of the year, might wait til next week. Monday

Here is a Monday Blog. On Friday night, after working the 8th grade basketball tourny until almost 10pm, I got home, slipped on the ice on the steps to the home and did a huge fall onto my back on the steps, the back hurts something horrible, made it through the work day ok, but can't hardly sit or stand, once I am sitting or standing I am fine, its just getting there that hurts. Anyhow, its getting better, hope it hurries. Work was normal, busy, crazy, etc. but got lots done. Trying to finish my Christmas shopping, almost done, but have a few odds and ends yet to come.
