Last Weekend of June already!

Just got done with the last weekend of June, hard to believe, the summer is sailing by fast, but we are trying to make the most of it for sure. Last week was busy at work so didn't have a lot of extra time, but it was a great week non the less. Went hiking on Saturday (before work, it was my Saturday to work), skateboarding this morning (love it early in the morning when I am the only person around). Went to church, had family brunch, then Micah and I headed up to the really Big Mountain again for some Mountain Biking, it was a blast, around 85 degrees, sunny, warm, just a nice day to be up at the mountain and the biking was GREAT! Getting ready for a short work week and our annual 4th of July camping trip, really looking forward to an extra day off, should be a lot of fun. Another Weekend at play!

Its been a busy week, at work, at home, at play. Took Micah to the Moster Truck races Saturday night, we went Kayaking and then today we went up to the Big Mountain for the opening trial of the Zip lines, all lots of fun. Work has been crazy as always, Gina (might have said this before) got a new schedule which is great, she works 4-10 hour days, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, also is working during the days so we actually get to see her and we all have weekends off. The big news is that Isaiah now has a girlfriend, a nice cute girl from Ireland who moved here with her family several years ago, he is in love and its kind of funny, his first real girlfriend and all. Can't believe its been so long!

Wow, I was just looking at my last post, can't believe its been so long! As usual, we have been super busy indeed. Kayaking, Hiking, Biking, Running and work. Pretty much sum's it all up. The first week of Micah's summer was just full of activities and the summer is off to a banner start. Last week Anah and Micah went kayaking on the lake and had a great time, I had to go to Libby to work for a while and have been very busy. due to an injury my workouts have suffered but not completely so still getting in shape. Isaiah has been working on websites for MonanaSky, and, the big news, I think Gina got her schedule changed and now is going to be working "normal" hours with weekends off, its been four years since we both had weekends off together! How nice is that!! Anah and Steven have been really busy, they are also biking and spending time at the lake. Tonight is Monster Trucks at the fair grounds and a day full of yard work and kayaking and going for a hike pretty quick so it should be fantastic. The weather is beautiful and we are ready to roll. Micah's Last Day of School!

Micah made it through the 7th grade!! Great report card, all A's and a couple of B's, great year, great teachers, lots of fun. Now that school is over, its time for summer to kick into full gear, however, it looks like, in typical Montana fashion, the weather isn't going to cooperate too much during the month of June, oh well, its still going to be lots of fun. Great week here at the Dasen home, other than a small injury to my upper ribs due to a slight mis-step in Kung Fu, it only hurts when I breathe, talk, laugh, eat, stand, sit or lay down, other than that, no problem. Work has been crazy again this week, working with a whole new management software, but keeping my team going strong and its really helping me keep everyone on track! Well, will prob. write again the weekend, just wanted to pat micah on the back for a great year!
