Skiing, Work and More

Skiing Saturday was fun but a little chilly, it was zero on the summit but the wind made it real cold for sure, Micah, his buddy Tod and I managed to get a full day of skiing in with a warm up stop here and there, we need some more snow but a day of skiing is always great! Isaiah is back in the groove of college, taking a bunch of art classes again and carrying a full load. Gina's job is going ok, if they would just quit moving her around so she can settle it, she is in high demand so keeps "movin on up". I had a long week at work, business is good but never enough time in the day. Trying to keep up on working out and its paying off on the slopes, but i NEED to go to bed earlier so i can get up on time.

Quick update

Other than work, the big fun was Micah's birthday. Fun it was! After school on Friday we brought Micah's best friend Todd home, the boys hung out, played games and basically had a good time, dinner, we went to the HuHot Mongolian grill and then to the movie Mall Cop. Saturday morning we got up and headed right to the big mountain for a day of skiing, it could not have been better. An inversion put us in the sunshine all day, it was warm, sunny, good snow, we skiied until we couldn't anymore and then went to Dos Amigos in Whitefish for dinner, a perfect birthday, a perfect day. As far as I go, the working out is paying off, I was able to ski countless runs without killing myself, which is nice. Gina has the next four days off because her normal schedule has Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday off but Monday is a holiday for banks so she gets a nice break! Update Time

Greetings and Salutations to all our friends! Quick update, not much going on, other than being very busy at work. This Friday is Micah's 13th Birthday! An official Teenager! Big plans for his Birthday weekend, Skiing, Hu Hot, Movies, all sorts of fun. Short update but thats all thats happening.

Weekly update

2009 is a blur so far, started with a huge snow storm, now it feels like spring, we are sure winter is hiding somewhere and will be back soon, but the warm weather has been nice. Last week we had Micah's "Christmas" program, it was nice, they had cancelled the program before Christmas because of weather so made it up this last week. Micah is all settled back into the swing of school, Isaiah is working on various projects for MontanaSky, Gina is all into the flow of her new work schedule, all is well in the Dasen family. Anah and Steven are waiting for their new TV system to get hooked up (Christmas present to them from us, Dish Network) and, much to Anah's jealousy, Steven is getting ready to go to Hawaii for 2 weeks to open a new Target Store while Anah has to stay home in the cold. My workouts for the Triathlon have been good, made it through week one, my diet, on the other had, although not really bad, could use a little more help. Well, Skiing has been GREAT!

Lots of Snow, lots of Fun. Christmas break is over for Micah and he is back at school. Isaiah is still on break, Gina and I are working lots. Started the New Years quest for fitness, trying to get the boys on board. Other than that, nothing big going on! See ya soon.

Happy Weekly Update

Well, the new year certainaly came in with a roar, on Friday the 2nd, i went out and shouvled my walkway at around 5:30 am, got it all nice, went in the house, watched a little news and got ready for work, by 7:20 when I was leaving for work, another 6 inches of snow had fallen, the wind had picked up and we were almost snowed in! Ginas car got stuck in the driveway, I managed to get her to work, she had only 1/10th of the people show up in her division and over half of our staff at montanasky was missing. Spent the rest of the night digging out, here is a shot of our stairs to make all you AZ people feel warm.
