Merry Christmas!

Geeze how fast a few weeks can go during the holidays! Skiing has been Fun, Micahs Christmas Concert was great, Our company Christmas party was fun, Gina and I had a GREAT Christmas indeed, we had a wonderful dinner with Micah, Isaiah, Anah, Steven and Steven's Dad and Brother, the Prime Rib was wonderful and the company fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better day unless all the family could have been together, hopefully soon. Here are a couple of pics to catch you all up and hope your Christmas was as good as ours

Thanksgiving

A couple more basketball games all finished up, only a few more to go and the season is already done!! Gina and the boys had most of the week off which has been nice for sure. Our Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic, Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Fluff, Cranberries, Gravy, Rolls, Shrimp filled Puff Balls, Pasty's, Fudge, Relish Tray and Anah's own Pumpkin Pie, we all ate way toooo much and it took several hours before we could move, Gina's folks came up from Butte to join us, which was really nice, our first holiday meal in our new home. Later, Isaiah, Micah and I went to Ninja Assassins at the Theatre, is was just a great day! Had to work Friday and Saturday and next week is the Big Trinity 8th grade boys Basketball tourny, will be a busy week but I'm sure we will make it through. Happy Weekend!!

After a busy week of Work, Bball Games, Work Stuff and the such, Saturday was kind of nice, got a bunch of stuff done around the house, had a great bbq on Saturday Night, went to church and confirmation Sunday morning, nice pizza with the family Sunday afternoon, even got a little snow!! We are all Looking foward to Thanksgiving holiday, got all the food ready to cook, coming soon, Micah's Basketball Tourny and the Opening Day of Ski Season! We can't wait!!

Happy Sunday

It was a busy week at the Dasen's. Work was crazy as half the staff was at home with h1n1, geeze! Monday had a meeting, Tuesday had basketball, Wednesday had another meeting, Thursday had basketball, Friday had a grand opening of a business i had to go to, and finally the week was over, or was it. Saturday morning the whole family and Fred got to work, we trenched about 400 feet and glued and laid conduit, put in the sweeps and back filled for phone lines. Went from about 8am until around 6pm, we finished off the day by heading to Mooses for pizza. Today we all slept in a bit, got Ginas snow tires on, did the grocery shopping and had Pizza Sunday, busy week and another one around the corner but for now, just enjoying the Amazing Race! Go Globetrotters!! Thanksgiving break is coming up soon, which is gonna be nice, it ill be intereting to see how 10 people fit in the new house for dinner! See ya sll soon and have a great week.

Happy Basketball Season

Micah is in the middle of basketball, after a rough start the team is now at 3w, 2L, nice playing Micah! He has hit a few great shots and is getting pretty darn good. Its nice to be going to games again. Today, Micah sings at church, then confirmation, then PIZZA DAY! Other than that, the week was full of meetings, work and thats about it. Happy Halloween

Thats right, its already Halloween, the end of October, time to think about........SKIING!! The boys and I can't wait for ski season, its getting close. The week was busy for sure. Micah is playing basketball and having a ball (no pun intended). Its fun going to games. Now that Gina is part of the management team at work, she got to do the Thriller dance with her team in front of all 600 of the employees, she was a zombie, she also had camo day, which was fun as well. Great Weekend!

What a nice weekend it was, although I worked on Saturday, the evening was great and Sunday was a joy. We had a nice fire on Saturday night

Sunday was beautiful, we got lots of chores done around the house, Anah and Steven came over for Pizza day, then all the kids headed to Anah's house for a "cheesy horror show day", Gina and I went to dinner with Fred, it was really nice. Hope you all have a great week!

Its Fall again!

A brief pause in Winter to try and squeeze a little fall in, its actually kind of a nice day today, sunny, warmer, can't beat it!! Nice week, Gina is settling into her new position in Quality Control for Bank of America, I have been crazy busy at work, the boys are working out lots at the Summit, Micah is starting Basketball, I am feeling ski season in the air, pretty excited about hitting the slopes this year. Spending Saturday in the Office, tomorrow doing some chores around the home, should be a nice weekend. Well, there is the update for the week, not much really going on, hope you all have a great one!

Fall has fallen

Fall is officially here, chilly mornings, cool days, one of my favorite times of the year. The last week was pretty good, the big news is that Gina got a promotion at work, she is now a trainer, which is really nice, she dosen't have to be on the phones all day. Also, we painted the outside of our new house, it looks much nicer now, almost like new (pic included). Got lots of other stuff done around the home, getting closer and closer to being "settled". Last night we went to Jagz with Steven, Anah and Scott (Stevens Dad) for dinner, it was wonderful, a nice treat for sure. Today we have Sunday confirmation with Micah, then, we are reviving the "Sunday Pizza Day". Hope you all have a great day, see ya soon!

Another week in the books

Great week, got a little more settled, the big news is the dishwasher!! Didn't think we would miss it as much as we did but MAN iits nice to have back. Micah has been the working sidekick around the grounds, moving rocks, trees, copilot, hes been working hard! Isaiah is playing lots of music, gutiar, piano and urdu. He has also been building websites for the company like www.montanasky.tv Gina is super busy making our house a home and we are waiting to see about her promotion at work. Lots coming up so stay tuned.

Happy Saturday!

Well, mostly a happy Saturday, I am working but it is beautiful out and will be done at 4pm today. We made a lot of progress on the new home this past week, starting to settle in and its starting to look like home. Micah is off camping with some buddies this weekend, Isaiah is off gaming, Gina is home enjoying the sun, I am sure. Got all of my change of addresses done, I think, am emailing our new address out, if you miss my email, let me know, it will be in your inbox today so keep your eyes peeled. Move is over!

After a couple of solid weeks of building, cleaning, packing and moving in between school starting, youth group stuff, work and whatever else came along, we are moved!! A little exhausted but moved. I put a few pics up, more to come, hope all is well and we are praying for Kim and Jeremy.

A Long Needed Post!!

Wow, how time flies!! After the fair it got really busy, after some pushing from some "Blog Followers" (Hi Mom) I thought I better get with the program. First, I will be updating the website in the next few days, so hold tight :) Anyhow, the new place is coming right along, the flooring is almost done, got all the laminate finished and have most of the kitchen, dining, living room and office moved, carpet is in the bedrooms, got the Dish put up for satellite last night around 10pm, working on Internet, painting, moving trees with a crane, paving, deck is finished, lots of work, but we are having a blast!! Will post some pics soon, still trying to figure out where to put all our stuff in this much smaller home. Will update soon.

Its a "Fair" week

The NW Montana Fair is in full swing and man is it crazy, busy, trying to get stuff done, trying to get the house in order, too much to do, tooooooo little time! Worked yesterday from 5:30 am until 11pm, got back on it today at 6am, going til around 10 tonight, 12 days in a row, 8 left, then time to move into the new place, I hope!! Haven't taken any pics lately, again, so I vow to get with it in the upcoming days, have a great day and will be checking in soon.

Geeze what a busy time

The fair is here, all set up and ready to go with the MontanaSky booth, will be a busy week! We spent the weekend painting the new place, flooring going in thursday and friday, hope to start the slow move process maybe on Saturday if I can get away from the fair. We are excited and impatient! We also have school coming up for Micah, college for Isaiah and can't believe that summer is quickly drawing to a close. Had a great BBQ out at our new place on Sunday of last week durring the painting marathon. We also have been talking, investigating, researching and planning doing some "farming" at our place. We are on 36 acres and have water rights to the river, looking at irrigation equipment and trying to figure out the right stuff to grow, maybe garlic, horse radish, peppers (make hot sauce), organic veggies (got super one foods to agree to sell whatever we grow), who knows, it will be a great project and interesting to see where it goes. Have fallen down on the pics a little, but will have a bunch on the next post.

Summer Fun and Ginas Bday

Summer fun at its very best! Took off work a little early on Friday to pack and hook up the camper then off to Bitterroot lake. Anah, Steven and Scott (Steven's dad) all threw their stuff together on short notice and we spent the weekend BBQing, Jet Skiing, Swimming, hanging at the campfire, s'mores and my really piratey Rum Punch. We had a great time for sure. Next on the agenda-moving!! We had hoped to move in October but it looks like its going to be more like the end of august or the beginning of september, coming super fast and we are excited!
