Another Beautiful Weekend

After a super busy week at work its turned out to be yet another beautiful weekend. Got up bright and early and went for a hike/run up the lone pine trail, just beautiful other than the mosquitoes! They were a little heavy on parts of the hike up to say the least. Got home, am resting a bit and ready for yard work, kayaking and then....PIZZA!! I love saturdays when I relax my healthy eating habits. Micah is pretty much done with school, monday he goes hiking and bbq-ing, tuesday, biking and Ice Cream, Wednesday, cleaning up the desk and handing in books, and Thursday, the final day of the year! Isaiah is long boarding and getting ready to go on a kayak run with Curtis, and he started playing guitar for the church praise band. Gina is working today after her days off and is really enjoying the great weather. Anah and Steven have been camping and running around tons already this spring and their home is looking great. Memorial Day Summer Fun

Memorial Day weekend, a time to remember all the loved ones that have left us and a time to remember the sacrifices so many have made. It also signifies the first of summer for us and a great Memorial Day it was. Started out with an early morning hike up a mountain with a nice run back down, then a good workout, mowing and weedeating the lawn, kayaking down the river with Micah and finally a good ol' summer bbq with hot dogs, shrimp salad and baked beans. We also squeezed in a few ping pong games and managed to get a sunburn. A super day for sure, now, a little R&R before tomorrows day back at the grind. Hope everyone had as great of a day as we had and hope to see you all soon!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend (And DAD'S BDAY!)

Happy Birthday to Dad! Looks like its going to be a hot one down in sunny AZ! In the interest of space and time, I will not post your age on the blog :) Its Memorial Day Weekend! And, its off to a great start. Yesterday I took most of the day off of work and we got tons of stuff done. Went for a Run, worked out, Isaiah and I went kayaking down the river, got summer tires put on the car, got the camper ready for the season, Gina got the flowers planted, had a great BBQ and most of the yard work is done. The rest of the weekend looks nice, warm and sunny, we are looking forward to the extra days off and will be blogging later to update the weekend.

Yet Another Post!

Just posted yesterday and already back at it. One thing I notice is that when I only take off one or two days a month I really take advantage of the day off! Went to Church last night and today was great, I actually slept in until almost 9AM, don't even remember the last time I slept that late, it was kind of nice. Once I got moving for the day I mowed the lawn, cleaned up the yard and did a few other chores. Gina had a great day in the sun, Micah and I played a few ping pong games, went and got his hair cut, stopped at sportsman to dream about all the cool stuff, came home and had a nice lunch, chatted with the neighbors for a bit, Micah and I went kayaking at the lake, played a little ping pong tourny with the boys, cleaned the garage, walked the dog, went to the grocery store and now......the Survivor finals!! Nice day.

Good Saturday Morning

A beautiful Saturday morning here in Kalispell for sure! Had a great week of work and being home after my trip to Denver (Howie Mandel still has me laughing now and then). Another day of work, but next week I am taking four days off to catch up on work around the home, play and just hang out, really looking forward to that! We have lots of stuff going on as usual and are looking forward to a great rest of the spring and summer. Gina is struggling at work with neurological "crap" that we think is brought on by too much time in front of a computer screen in combo with noise through her headset, kind of weird, but like a strobe light effect, its bringing on seizure activity, she hasn't had a grand maul, but keeps feeling it coming on. Its not super serious, more of a scarry annoyance, so keep her in your prayers while we work through it. Other than that, life is good!

Happy Mothers Day from Denver

Well, a great trip to Denver, the Dish Network show was really great, got lots of great informaion, lots of exciting stuff going on, it was cool to be here with the all the networks and stuff, MTV did the entertainment so we got to see REO Speedwagon on Thursday night, got to go to a Baseball game on Friday night and the best was Howie Mandel last night, he was so funny my gut hurt for hours. We got there early so go seats right up front, could have touched him, but it was really funny. The convention went from 7:30 am til around 11pm each day so kind of tired but it was great, got lots of junk from all the tv people. We also got to chat with the Main boss from Dish for about an hour, just us guys from Montana, so that was cool, we made some headway with some of the things we would like to do as a company with Dish, so that was really good too. Miss all you guys, with I could see you all on this Mothers Day! Will be posting some pictures soon. Have a great Mothers Day!!

Greetings on May Day!

Happy May Day, first day of the month and a friday at that. Happy to have a weekend off, need to get lots done around the home and ready to rock. The last few weeks, although very busy, were very good. Workouts kicked butt, trade shows brought in lots of business and all is well. Micah spent the day with his class doing highway clean up, Isaiah spent the day with Curtis watching Xmen, eating at 5 guys burgers and fries (cant wait to try it tomorrow on my "day off of Diet" day).
