Memorial Day Summer Fun

Memorial Day weekend, a time to remember all the loved ones that have left us and a time to remember the sacrifices so many have made. It also signifies the first of summer for us and a great Memorial Day it was. Started out with an early morning hike up a mountain with a nice run back down, then a good workout, mowing and weedeating the lawn, kayaking down the river with Micah and finally a good ol' summer bbq with hot dogs, shrimp salad and baked beans. We also squeezed in a few ping pong games and managed to get a sunburn. A super day for sure, now, a little R&R before tomorrows day back at the grind.
